Our appraisers are both certified or accredited members of the International Society of Appraisers or the Appraisal Association of America. We comply with the educational and technical standards of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), The Appraisal Foundation, and The Appraisal Association of America (AAA).

We are qualified to appraise all personal property, specifically antiques and decorative arts, including 18th, 19th, and 20th century furniture, silver, porcelain, glass, collectibles, and residential contents. We have special training in Southern Decorative Arts and French Decorative Arts.

Our appraisers are required to study in their specialized areas. ISA and AAA members are re-certified every five years, assuring accurate, precise, and professional standards in the appraisal process.

Our work is recognized and accepted by insurance companies, banks, museums, state agencies, and the Internal Revenue Service. Clients include corporations, museums, universities, insurance companies, insurance adjusters, attorneys, moving companies, military families, and individuals.
Our fees for appraisals are billed at an hourly rate.

We service the Southeastern United States including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

Linda Rushton Pugh, AAA
Linda Rushton Pugh, AAA

Linda Rushton Pugh, AAA, is a personal property appraiser who is a certified member of the Appraisers Association of America (New York). She performs appraisals of antiques, art, furniture, silver, porcelain, pottery, and other decorative arts and household items. She has had an active appraisal practice in Montgomery, Alabama, since 1989, and works with clients throughout the southeastern United States conducting estate division appraisals, estate tax appraisals, insurance appraisals, IRS donation appraisals, and liquidation appraisals.

 

Mrs. Pugh’s education includes studies at The Winterthur Museum of American Furniture and Decorative Arts; The Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts; the Northern Ceramic Society at University of Chester, England; Scottish Furniture through the University of St. Andrews, Scotland; and a Masters Program in French Decorative Arts through the Musee des Arts Decoratifs at The Louvre in Paris. Tiffany Blevins Beasley, ISA AM

Tiffany Blevins Beasley, ISA AM, is an accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers (Chicago) practicing as a personal property appraiser specializing in antiques, decorative arts, and sterling.

 

Mrs. Beasley’s education includes completion of the International Society of Appraisers’ (ISA) Core Course in Appraisal Studies, the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) course, and the ISA Antiques and Residential Contents course.  She also attended many lectures regarding the appraisal field of practice at the Expanding Horizons conference of the ISA in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2016, as well as the New Orleans Antiques Forum In Their Hands:  Creative Masters of Southern Decorative Arts in 2017.  She has an active appraisal practice in Fairhope, Alabama, and also assists clients throughout the state of Alabama and the southeastern United States.  A complete professional profile will be included in the final appraisal report and is available upon request.
